A few months ago, I started to recollecting my favourite music in form of CD. My childhood and teenage years consists of listening music from cassettes and CDs but nowadays, all of my music listening happens exclusively in Spotify. Although I thought I'm done with physical music album, I miss being able to see rows of album cover artwork. Some of the CDs and cassettes I own survive, but unfortunately most of them are either lost or I don't really remember where, and way too much hassle to find it.
I select the best ones personally and list down all the CDs that I need to purchase or re-purchase. I put them within these categories:
- The Top Tier: The album that contain songs that I like, right from the first to the last. Doesn't matter when or where I listens or re-listens to it, it still got a kick. Any albums in this category has highest priority to obtain.
- The Second Tier: The album that contain most songs that I like and strongly evoke memories or the album that becomes my life soundtrack for a certain period of time.
- The Bottom Tier: The albums only has a few of songs that I really like, but not so much for the rest of the album. This is the least prioritize album to obtain. Love to have it but only after the other albums in the upper tiers are acquired.
Let the CDs hunt begin!
